Brought to you through a collaboration between FISAF Australia and Taboo Period Products.
Educator:
Eva Jakob – TABOO Period Products.
Eva is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist equipped with a Masters in both Women’s Health Medicine and Reproductive Medicine. Eva is focused on improving the quality of menstrual education while fighting stigmas surrounding period health. She is passionate about teaching the importance of a healthy menstrual cycle from menarche to menopause and believes in the power of knowledge to make informed decisions for optimal health.
Content covered:
- Why menstrual health matters in sport
- Understanding the menstrual cycle and how every athlete responds differently
- Common menstrual challenges for athletes
- Ways we can improve communication and culture around the menstrual cycle in sport
Who is this workshop for:
Parents, coaches and athletes who are 12 years and older. Children under 16 are encouraged to seek parent/carer permission before purchasing this content.
